Uncover Creations Werewolf II and Werewolf III dildo review

I bought the Uncover Creations Werewolf III in medium firmness, extra-small size, and “surprise me premium” coloration, or a random mix of two colors in any pour style, during a Black Friday sale. I got a soft extra-small Werewolf II as a mystery freebie. Their choice of freebie was fortunate, as I had been eyeing both the II and III and couldn’t decide which one to get. For the rest of this review, I’ll be acting as though I chose them both.

The toys:

The Werewolf II dildo, a short knotted fantasy dildo in bright blue silicone. The base features realistic fur detailing.
The Werewolf III dildo, a short knotted fantasy dildo in a marble of purple and blue silicone.

I have organic chemistry lab on the brain these days. All I can think about when writing about the stats and physical appearance of my toys is looking up chemicals used in an experiment for a prelab to fill out the table of physical data for each one. Sexy, no doubt.

The II’s firmness feels like it’s somewhere between what Uncover Creations calls super soft (00-40) and what they call medium (10A), so I’ll assume that it’s their soft (5A) firmness. This is considered an upgrade from their other firmnesses in that their default firmness for dildos is a medium and anything else costs extra. What UC calls “medium” firmness (Shore 10A) is decently firm with very little give when squeezed and limited flexibility. I can bend the Werewolf III so that the tip touches the base, but only with difficulty. Many fantasy brands use 10A as their firm option, which makes more sense to me. As it is, UC’s firmness options are medium, soft, super soft, and squishy soft. Aside from the confusion of whether super soft or squishy soft is softer, it’s odd to have a firmness scale with three variants on soft, a single medium, and nothing called “firm”.

The toys are quite small, with diameters of about 1.7 inches (II) and 1.8 inches (III). They’re also quite short, at under 4.5 inches each.

Aesthetics:

The III is, frankly, ugly. I’m not talking about the color, although this particular blue and purple combination doesn’t do it for me. I chose “surprise me premium” coloration and can’t complain that I got a surprise. It doesn’t look either biological or mechanical. It just looks like a collection of shapes thrown together in modeling software. I apologize to whatever designer worked hard to create this (Kat from exceldesigns, it turns out), but they pay me the big bucks as a reviewer to tell the truth. This one doesn’t do it for me aesthetically. I knew that the toy was ugly when I bought it, though, so that’s on me.

I’m a much bigger fan of the aesthetics of the II, which was designed by Frost. I’ve never been that into the werewolf fantasy, but the fur detailing on the base of this toy did something to my brain. Shortly after buying the dildo, I began fantasizing about a hot werewolf with the face of one of my friends coming to fuck me and knot my ass up. I hadn’t even gotten to try the toy yet. That’s exactly what a fantasy dildo should do to my brain. The II’s fur helped me unlock a whole new fantasy of being knotted, and I’m glad to have found something new that I’m into. That fur detailing is hard to clean, though. It’s not awful, but it does benefit from some care around the base. Fortunately, the design of the fur looks nice enough for me to forgive slight cleaning difficulties.

In use (anally):

I’ve tried the toys a decent amount since I got them a few months ago. Neither has won me over. I only ever used the toys anally, because I only ever use any insertable toys anally. (Although I still have my other hole, I don’t enjoy having it penetrated.)

The knots weren’t thick enough compared to the shafts below them to stay in. This was a huge disappointment! For me, most of the fantasy of a knotted dildo is being plugged up with something large enough to hold itself in. But however firmly I inserted them, the knots on both Werewolf models slid out of me within seconds. Something about the shape of the dildos had them sliding out of my hole, even when I lay on my back with my legs up and ass clenched to keep them in.

The very tapered tip of the Werewolf III looks like it should have been easier to insert than the Werewolf II, but that wasn’t the case in practice. Both were about equally easy to get in there. Unlike the II, the III has no noticeable texture before the knot. But the ratio of above-knot shaft width to knot width is higher on the III than on the II. That makes the transition from shaft to knot a lot easier on the III. The II is nowhere near my current size limits, but it occasionally hurts to insert anyway because of that sharp transition. It would be easier if I swapped to a toy between the knot and upper shaft sizes to warm up, but that’s more effort than I want to expend. The II also seems somewhat slimmer below the knot than the III. It’s still not enough for it to stay in, but it does mean that, unlike the III, there’s a nice popping sensation when the knot on the II slides into place.

I was also disappointed by the subtlety of the texture on the non-knot sections of the toys. The veiny texture on the tip of the II wasn’t noticeable on the first time I used it but was noticeable on subsequent attempts. It feels nice, but it’s hard to tell that it’s there unless I concentrate. Both the II and the III have some texture below the knot. For some reason, I can’t feel those textures at all in use.

One major difference between the two toys is that the III is much more elliptical. Its diameter is longer compared to its circumference than that of the II. I would have expected that to make a difference in the sensation, but apparently my ass can’t figure out how squashed a cylinder is.

The last nail in these wolves’ coffin (silver bullet in their heart, maybe?) is their small size. It’s not the dildos’ fault that my ass is more cavernous than I first thought, but the Werewolf II and III also suffered from not stretching me out enough. I chose short, knotted toys because, after my issues with the Tantus Curve, I figured shorter meant safer. And I wanted thicker toys than I was used to so I could feel stretched out. Unfortunately for my future with these toys, the extra-small size was easy for me to conquer. I was able to insert each of them fully the first time I tried. Their approximate 1.7-inch (Werewolf II) and 1.8-inch (Werewolf III) diameters weren’t enough to make me feel truly expanded after a couple of minutes of getting used to them. Not filling me up isn’t a fatal flaw in a toy. There are three larger sizes to try, after all. But given their difficulty staying in, I won’t buy the larger sizes of either Werewolf as I work my way up.

I still sometimes use these toys to get myself warmed up before using my Fantasy Grove Amanita. But I never pull them out for their own sake. I’ve been actively working on handling larger toys, and I know that my Amanita will one day also be too small for me to feel fully stretched out. But at least the Amanita has an interesting shape that makes up for it. And, despite not being knotted, the head of the Amanita is able to stay in my ass on its own. There’s a decent chance that I’ll buy another Amanita when I outgrow this one. There’s no chance I buy another Werewolf II or Werewolf II. Maybe they’d have a shot if the area beneath the knot was longer and skinnier for both of them. As it is, though, they don’t work for my body in the way I would have liked.
